I have very fond memories of George. I often used to sit next to him in the Creative Writing class on Friday mornings in Room 44b at Kingston Adult Education College in Richmond Road before we moved to Browns Road, then onto King Charles Centre. He loved to chat. We were not only in the minority as males, but in the rarer community of chaps of advancing years! He will be greatly missed by all his ‘penfriends’ from the class. John Solloway.
